I’m a recently retired human rights lawyer and former legal academic and journalist. I’ve worked in Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the UK and moved to the south coast a few years ago. I was providing legal advice at the Women’s Resource Centre when I first joined Southern Women’s Group as I was so impressed by the extraordinary and crucial work undertaken by SWG’s services. Our workers continue to step up to the challenges of protecting and promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of women in our region. They do an extraordinary job and I’m so proud to be part of this organisation.
