Amanda is a new member to the Board, joining in 2025. Amanda retired three years ago after spending 38 years working in child protection with the Department of Communities & Justice. During that time Amanda worked closely with other government and non-government organisations across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven and was a strong advocate for interagency collaboration and partnership. She has seen first-hand the impact that domestic violence can have on women, children and families and is passionate about strengthening services that can provide support to reduce this impact.
Amanda also volunteers with several local organisations in the Shoalhaven and is a firm believer in the concept of giving back. In her spare time she enjoys baking, bushwalking and spending time with her grandchildren.
